Development Interns will support Accountability Counsel’s Executive team to raise the organization’s $2 million annual budget. This position offers interns the opportunity to gain substantial experience in nonprofit fundraising and development, and offers valuable experience working with a leading international human rights and environmental organization. Responsibilities may include researching donor prospects, drafting outreach materials, writing grant proposals, and planning fundraising events.

Positions are unpaid, but we will be happy to work with your institution to arrange academic credit. Internship Period: January – April
Internship Parameters: 16 hours per week minimum.

Summer
Internship Period: June – August
Internship Parameters: 40 hours per week; 10 week minimum.
Application Timeline: reviewed beginning in January; applications accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.

Fall
Internship Period: September – December
Internship Parameters: 16 hours per week minimum.
