Accountability Counsel is seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to join us as a full-time Policy Director, based in our Washington, D.C. office. The Policy Director is a senior member of Accountability Counsel’s leadership team and is also responsible for implementation of the organization’s Policy Advocacy strategy, which is focused on non-judicial accountability systems. In particular, we are seeking a leader to advance our work focused on the improvement and creation of accountability offices tied to international finance and development. The position reports to Accountability Counsel’s Executive Director.
Accountability Counsel is seeking a motivated, mission-driven person to work side-by-side with our Executive Director (ED) to support our ED’s effectiveness, as well as a collaborative role supporting our fundraising, communications, and overall organizational excellence. As a key member of our Executive team, it is essential that the Executive Coordinator maintains up-to-date knowledge of Accountability Counsel’s work across all programs through engagement with our global team. This role requires strong written and oral communications, superb attention to detail, and a high degree of professionalism––while remaining resourceful, flexible, and proactive. The Executive Coordinator will also represent Accountability Counsel and our mission to external stakeholders.
