Abigail "Abby" Lopez Roa

Abby Lopez Roa is an undergraduate student at Stanford University, pursuing Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. While taking a few gap years, she gained technical experience as a Diesel Technician, troubleshooting and repairing engine and electrical issues on commercial motor vehicles (semi-trucks).

Abby serves as a Peer Career Coach for Stanford Career Education, providing career support and mentorship to students. Additionally, as the Academic Director for the Stanford Society of Latinx Engineers, she is involved in planning academic and diversity-focused events and developing a project-based mentorship program.

Currently, Abby is a Software Engineering Intern at Accountability Counsel, where she is developing key features for the database of complaints to independent accountability mechanisms.
