The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announced the creation of a new dispute resolution mechanism on January 1, 2015. The new Stakeholder Response Mechanism (SRM) is slated to be a forum for stakeholders to raise concerns when they believe that a UNDP project may have adverse social or environmental impacts on them. The SRM will be available to stakeholders who have already undergone consultation and engagement with project implementing partners and/or the UNDP without a satisfactory outcome. Learn more about the SRM here.
