Kathryn Pettit joined Accountability Counsel as a Law Fellow in June 2020. She is currently studying at the University of San Diego School of Law and is interested in environmental and human rights law. Katie has had the opportunity to pursue these interests through internships with Los Angeles Waterkeeper and Casa Cornelia Law Center. Prior to law school, Katie worked with Soccer Without Borders, a nonprofit that provides extracurricular and academic programming for girls and young women in Granada, Nicaragua. Katie received her bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a focus on environmental economics, from Washington and Lee University. Katie loves enjoying time outside, especially while playing soccer or hiking.
