
Spring 2010 Law Fellow
Cat is 2010 graduate of Berkeley Law who is currently a Bridge Fellow working with the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative in New York City. Prior to attending law school, Cat was involved in Latin American advocacy and solidarity work, serving as a human rights accompanier and program coordinator for the Network in Solidarity with the People of Guatemala. During law school, Cat spent a year in Berkeley Law's International Human Rights Law Clinic working on a case before the Inter-American System and externed for the Honorable Marsha S. Berzon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Cat also volunteered as a legal advocate for asylum seekers in the United States and Iraqi refugees in the Middle East, provided housing and immigration legal services to the Bay Area’s Spanish-speaking residents, and participated in the ACLU Women’s Rights Project’s impact litigation efforts.
