Fall 2009- Summer 2010 Undergraduate Intern
Karen is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley. Karen majored in Peace & Conflict Studies and has an eye toward law school. Having already interned with one of our partner organizations, International Accountability Project, Karen was an Accountability Counsel intern for our entire first year. She accompanied Executive Director Natalie Bridgeman Fields to Washington, D.C. in June 2010 for a week of meetings with IFI accountability mechanisms, and has worked on policy advocacy, updating our Accountability Resource Guide, as well as community complaints.
